Weekend Randomness :-)

Hi all!

What does your weekend hold?

Mine includes some baseball games, a little grocery shopping, a brainstorming coffee date with a friend as we plan some junior high homeschool classes for next year and a few activities you may also like to do.

~ First, I am hosting a week of Spring Cleaning tips, strategies and giveaways over at my Facebook page tackling a various aspect of getting our acts together and our homes organized.

We’re talking about the kitchen, our paper piles, managing our time, deep cleaning, and de-junking our homes!

It began Monday and today is the last day, but you can still enter a comment on all five of the posts until midnight Sunday night PST. Simply click here and, if you aren’t my friend there yet, request to be one.

Now, if you don’t have a Facebook account, you’ll need to go through a few simple steps to get one. And no, you can’t enter from here on my blog, sorry. It is a Facebook party….but I want to invite all my bloggy friends to it so JOIN US!

Once there, scroll down to find each of the week’s posts where you  can enter to win all sorts of goodies—Bath & BodyWorks items, time management helpers, a Freezer Cooking Manual, funky & fun cleaning tools, office items, dark chocolate :-) & each day a signed copy of my book The Complete Guide to Getting & Staying Organized.

Oh, I hope to see you there!!!

~ Secondly, do you remember my sister-in-law Thais whom I interviewed here on her book about her journey through breast cancer? Well, those of you within driving distance to Grand Rapids, MI can get a chance to meet her!

She will be appearing at a book signing  at the Barnes & Noble bookstore on 28th Street in the Woodland Mall on Saturday from 1-3 p.m. Grab a friend & head out to get a copy of her book Moments With God: Diaries of a Cancer Survivor.

Happy weekend everyone!

  1. I wish that I had posted in time to be in the drawing for the “Spring-Cleaning” giveways. Between my ADD and my back issues, I feel like I am never gonna get done with any of the 1000 projects and stacks and sorting and cleaning out that need to be done!!!! I get so overwhelmed and end up just moving things from place to place! It is making me CRAZY!!! I did read you posts on FB and have printed some of the suggestions that you gave and hopefully I will be able to make some progress very soon! Thanks for the suggestions!

  2. You are one busy lady! I praise God for the strength He gives you to do all things :)

That is so kewel that Thais will be in GR this weekend! Coincidentially (or not : ) I have class in GR from 9-5 this Saturday with several breaks in between! I may just make it out there to see her :)

Have a blessed weekend sister. Love you!

  3. As of five minutes ago, we just received an invitation to have dinner at a friend’s house for Saturday, so we accepted. After church on Sunday, we will be going to the local art show where our two younger daughters each have a piece on display. :)
