My 26th Anniversary & Good Morning Girls Guest Post

Hey gang—

Twenty-six years ago today I married my college sweetheart.  Here is our wedding portrait in the middle of what I call our Wedding Wall. I am reminded to pray for the marriages of our family members when I spy their pictures hanging here:

And here is part of a collage our kids made for us in 2007 for Christmas. It has pictures and quotes and hand-written notes from the three of them (burned around the edges. I thought I smelled something burning Christmas Eve!)

I’m gonna take today off and send you all over to the fabulous gals (my friends Courtney & Angela) at Good Morning Girls where I am guest posting on the topic of their latest study on Proverbs 31 and they are offering a giveaway.  Click here to see it. I’ll see you back here next week.

Oh, and in the mean time, I wanted to say how excited I was to see so many of you wanting to do a summer Bible study with a friend after reading my last post.

Those of you who commented that you didn’t have anyone to do it with, would you pray about replying to each others’ comments? I’ve set them up in such a way that you can do that. Perhaps you’ll find a study partner and new friend that way. :-)

Now, here are the winners of the six copies of Wendy Blight’s ebook Bible study:

Judy Fuemmeler

Becca Dowling

Jude

Michelle h

Jill Schultz

Vivian

Please shoot an email to my assistant at [email protected] and she’ll get your info to Wendy.

Have a great weekend and don’t forget to head over to Good Morning Girls.

  1. Wedding wall – neat! I have a couple of wedding and family shelves, filled with photos of family and faux family (our nickname for friends of our kids who’ve adopted us and our home)…. never thought to use it as a prayer incentive…. great idea!

  2. Oh, I LOVE wedding photos. Thanks for sharing yours and Happy, Happy Anniversary to you and your husband ;) :)

Congrats to the giveaway winners, too :)

Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
