Piddling Around on Pinterest

Have you discovered Pinterest?

My hair dresser told me about it, showed me how to use it and helped me set up an account.

That was a few months ago and I really never did much with it.

Just recently however, I learned how to “pin” and “repin” and now I am an official Pinterest wannabe.

Wanna know what all the fuss is about? Check out my boards by clicking here.

I’ve been gathering all sorts of decorating ideas, DIY projects, recipes and other way-cool stuff. (although I have to limit myself to 15 minutes a day. It is addicting!)

I’d love for you to follow me there!

  1. We absolutely love your blog and find almost all of your
post’s to be exactly I’m looking for. Do you offer guest writers to write content for you personally?

I wouldn’t mind writing a post or elaborating on most of the subjects you write with regards to here. Again, awesome site!

  2. I love Pinterest, but I have to limit my time on there or I could be there most of the day. I am know following you on Pinterest.

  3. I have heard of this and never got started. Do you need an invite? I have to limit my computer time anyway, I could just get “sucked into the black hole” of the computer room!

  4. Is there a Pinterest Annoymous? I have to really watch how much time I spend…but I do love that all of it is so close at hand…Easier to do and find the things…looking foward to getting a bit more time…but after my “pinning of God” first to my board!

    Smiles & Blessings,
    Robin :)

  5. I signed up awhile back, but really didn’t do anything with it. Just recently I’ve actually started three boards and have pinned a few (very few) things. The problem I had with it is that there is nearly NO instructions on how to use this site. I think more people would use it if there were better instructions. I managed to set up three boards…but it was purely accidental with the first, and I had to work and work and work to figure out how to do it again.

  6. I love Pinterest!!! I agree it can be so addicting to sit and look and pin. I have now gotten a couple of people hooked on it. One being my MIL, she has now become a great cook. She never really cooked new things before now she is cooking something new everyday. lol.

  7. I love PINTEREST!! I have done a few craft projects, but need to find the time to sit and do all the pins I have pinned. Greatest resource I have found since the internet was developed!! And yes, I have to limit myself to 15-20 minutes at a time as well. :)

  8. I did the same thing. Signed up and left it alone, until one day i “pinned” something from BH&G …. yes, it’s addictive, BUT I can honestly say this is a great resource to keep me from holding on to magazine clippings and screen shots …. wish I had known about this all along and wish it had been around always! Hoping i can figure out how to get it on my blackberry! may have to get an iPhone after all!
