~ Some twisted peppermint kitchen soap from Bath & Body Works
~ A copy of Untangling Christmas: Your Go-To-Guide for a Hassle-Free Holiday (please note this will be an ebook copy. Hard copies are available here from Proverbs 31)
And here is your tip of the day. It has to do with holiday baking.
I love giving platters of goodies at the holidays. For years I was in some pretty serious cookie exchanges.
Last year, I took these to my publisher and some of my kids’ teachers:
However, last year I was not in a big, fancy-pants cookie exchange. (A few friends and I exchanged treats, but nothing like in years past).
I did a lot of my baking and prep in the weeks leading up to the holidays.
Just think, if each week from now until Christmas you made a batch of fudge or put up balls of cookie dough or actual baked cookies in the freezer, come the holidays you could have some awesome goody baskets, boxes or platters to give with so much less stress!
Okay, I want to know….what is your favorite Christmas goody or cookie? Leave your response in the comments and you will be entered in the giveaway. (All winners will be announced next Monday.)
