I don’t have a specific FAVORITE, I’ve carried on the tradition makin homemmade CHRISTMAS ornaments with my children from being little to grown adults every year, so all my ornaments my kids have made are my FAVORITES “MEMORIES LAST A LIFETIME”
My favorites are definitely those made by my children so many years ago. How precious they are, and what joy they bring every year when I pull them from boxes and remember so many good times.
My favorite one is a white square with the names Tom and Deb crocheted on it. A friend gave it to me 33 years ago for our first Christmas, and it’s still my favorite and goes near the top of the tree.
A sweet little reindeer made out of Popsicle sticks that my oldest daughter made me. It is so sad and missing an eye (it’s 13 years old) but I cherish it and it goes on our tree every year.
I have some I made with my daughters one year when they were little. Just simple beads and pipecleaners, but the memories make them special. I also have my first stocking, a little crochet one that my mother gave me.
I feel that I should like the ones my kids made the most, but my favorites are uniques Christian ornaments that focus on the real meaning of Christmas. We do have many random and miscellaneous ornaments on our tree as well, but I like the ones that say “Joy to the World”, “Jesus”, “Prince of Peace”, and others such as nativity scenes, etc.
I love homemade Christmas ornaments too. I have some beautiful angels and snowflakes that my mom made. For several years when the kids were little we used to paint or make an ornament each year over break.
My favorite ornament is the one my grandparents gave me for my first Christmas is 1963. It’s a bird in a nest with eggs all glued to a clothesline pin.

The Christmas Nail – reminder of Christ’s purpose in being born was to eventually go to the cross.
