10 Family Spring Cleaning Ideas for Home & Heart {link fixed!}

Are you old enough to remember spring-cleaning? This was big in the 1970 and 80’s when I growing up. An entire week or so was devoted to washing fingerprint-stained walls and woodwork, cleaning smudged windows and grimy windowsills. Floors were mopped. Carpets cleaned. Garages overhauled and swept.

The calendar no longer reads 1980-something, but we can still devote some time when the warmer weather hits to doing some deep cleaning as a family—of both the home and the heart. {Click here for the rest of the post at forthefamily.org}

  1. I know this isn’t related to today’s blog but I need to let you know that your book, Keep It Shut, has been life-changing for me. I’ve been working on my talking and chatting for a year or two and I think your book just sped up the work so much. It was wonderful and we just finished up the Proverbs 31 study on it. Now I’m getting the recorded conference calls late to listen to them now. Thank you for your honesty and vulnerability in your writing. It had to be difficult to share some of your stories but believe me, we all related to them so well and they echoed many things we’ve experienced as well. Thank you again and don’t ever stop writing!!
