Hot off the presses! My newest book The Complete Guide to Getting and Staying Organized is now available. If you’ve ever longed to get your act together, now is the time to start. This book tackles both time and home management and helps you to craft your own plan to take care of the “have-tos” of life in an efficient manner so you can get around to the “want-tos” of life– spending time with God, connecting with your husband, playing with your little ones, hanging out with your teens, reaching out to that neighbor, pampering a friend or just getting around to reading the book, working on the scrapbook or some other hobby venture. It is full of doable ideas, uplifting encouragement, lighthearted laughter and practical strategies, as well as simple, family-friendly recipes. You can get the book by ordering it from Proverbs 31 (1-877-P31-HOME or resources@proverbs31.org) or send me an email (karen@karenehman.com) and I can get you a signed copy of it. (Worth a quarter more at your garage sale someday that way!!!)

  • Hi Karen,
I found your blog through Marybeth’s site. I have enjoyed reading through your posts. I was so surprised and excited when I realized that you are the one that wrote A Life That Says Welcome. I just finished reading it about a month ago! That book spoke more to my heart than any other book I have read lately. You see, we are living in a house that does not feel welcoming to me. There are lots of things I want to change but have to wait while we save the money. You taught me that my attitude about serving others is what will make my home feel special. Thank you for helping me to get the right perspective.
