Black Friday & a Friend

Hi dear cyber friends!

If you are looking for my last post on the Top Ten quick and easy ways to use leftover turkey, click here.

If you are looking for a way to scale back at the holidays and teach your kids simplicity and thankfulness with an intentional gift-giving strategy, you can see an interview with me on this topic at my sweet friend (and author, speaker and parenting expert extraordinaire) Rebecca Ingram Powell’s blog post here.

Finally, if you are looking for me, you’ll have to check Target or Kohl’s or Dick’s Sporting Goods today. I’ll be up at the crack of dawn and gone for the duration of the day on my annual trek with my 12-year-old son Spencer.

Just because one limits the gifts she buys doesn’t mean she’s not looking for the very best price on them! :-)

Happy weekend!

Don’t forget to stop in next week. Our this annual 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway starts Wednesday, December 1st!!

12 days.

12 guests.

12 AWESOME giveaways.

13 prizes–one from each of my Proverbs 31 Ministries featured sisters and one grand prize giveaway from me for someone who comments on all 12 days.

Oh…..I am soooooo excited.

Almost as excited as my 12 year-old will be in a minute when I get him up and say, “First stop Biggby Coffee. Next stop….SHOPPING!!!!!”

Cyber Hugs!

  1. Nothing could be more wonderful than Silent Night. Standing in our sanctuary on Christmas Eve with candles in hand singing this carol is one of my favorite “remembrances” of Christmas.
