No Churn Espresso Ice Cream

No-Churn 35 Calorie Espresso Ice Cream from The Dashing Dish at karenehman.com

This No Churn Espresso Ice Cream is 35 Calories per serving, and only requires 5 minutes and a few simple ingredients to prepare! This no churn ice cream may just become your new favorite summer time treat!

Ingredients

1/4- 1/2 cup sweetener that measures like sugar (more or less to taste)

2 tbs Instant coffee powder (or instant espresso powder)

1/2 cup Low fat milk of choice

1 tbs Vanilla extract

1 (10 oz) container Tru Whip

Optional:1/4 cup chocolate chips or shaved chocolate

Method

  1. Combine sweetener and instant coffee in a large bowl. Add milk to the bowl and whisk until sweetener and instant coffee powder are dissolved. Add in vanilla and mix until blended. Fold in Tru whip and chocolate chips if desired.
  2. Place in a freezer safe container and freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight.

  1. I made this yesterday and it is DELICIOUS! In fact, it’s so good that I have a hard time believing it’s only 35 calories! Thank you, thank you for this recipe!

  2. A 10-ounce container of Truwhip has 750 calories, and 1/2 cup of low-fat milk has 51 calories, so without the chocolate, the total is 801 calories. If there are 8 servings, I think each serving has 100 calories, not 35.

    1. YES! It’s not 35 calories as advertised. I made a whole container thinking I could have it in one sitting and once I did my own math realized just how many calories the recipe actually is.

  3. How much is a serving? 1/2 cup, 1 cup? It sounds so good and I am having so much trouble just finding things that are low calorie and low carb (not KETO) Dr. said NO to that! My husband and I have each lost about 66 lbs. but, I am running out of ideas. I’m open to suggestions! Thanks…
