Long to Speak?

11248254_681705708628970_4500404350323400110_nThroughout my life, people have commented on how much I talk. The neighborhood moms. My teachers. My college sweetheart-turned-husband. In fact, my husband has already decided–if I should pass away before he does–just what he is going to have put on my tombstone.

A period.

He says that I will finally be done talking! Well, I remind him often that I now get to speak a lot as part of my ministry so it is a good thing that I enjoy doing it!

If you long to become a speaker–or if you already are one and just need some fresh vision, creative ideas, and practical tips for crafting, giving, and living an impactful message–check out the following valuable tools:

First, our Proverbs 31 Ministries She Speaks conference is held each July near Charlotte, NC. I have the honor of being the director of the speaker track of the conference.

700+ attendees get to hear inspiring keynote speakers, take practical workshops, meet with publishers to pitch their book ideas, and even sign up for some bonus conference calls about publishing and book proposals, if they are also interested in writing. Our keynote presenters have included Lysa TerKeurst, Ann Voskamp, Liz Curtis Higgs, Christine Caine, Michael Hyatt, and Shauna Niequist. Registration typically opens in February and sells out very quickly so be watching for it!

Additionally, I highly recommend Next Step Speaker Services, headed by the talented Amy Carroll, one of my ministry partners at Proverbs 31. A teacher at heart, Amy helps those interested in speaking to become skilled at giving a relevant and life-changing message. Check out her menu of services by clicking here.

I hope to see you at our next Proverbs 31 She Speaks conference!
