11182101_642447722554769_8395738088421396346_nJust hopping on long enough this Friday to share this image I posted on Instagram. I’m guessing I am not the only one who needs to hear this: That the issue you’re worried about? That person you are so afraid is going to make a bad choice? That situation you just can’t see having a happy ending?

Tether your heart to this truth: God is not worried. He is not up in heaven wondering how it is all going to turn out.

No. He is waiting for you to stop worrying and start praying instead. Our relationship with Christ grows deeper and sweeter the more we run to him with our concerns.

So hit your knees.

Trust.

Believe.

Note: The winner of the NLT One Year Chronological Bible is: Sabrina. Congrats! You will be getting an email from my assistant Sheila asking for your home address.

  • I just bought your book “Keep it Shut” about a month ago and I am reading it for the second time, it lead me to your blog. Your words have really got me to checking myself more carefully. May God bless your ministry with continued success. My desire is that my family and friends will see and hear Christ in me.

    • I could not remember how to write the title of a book in a sentence, so I took a chance and got it wrong. I know now that it is underlined. Sorry about that.

  • Yep… be still and know I am God… worry about how my teen will traverse his journey, finances, health, my husband, then God sends me reminders like your words and I breathe..#thanksAbba
